Tútugi – Where the land remembers.

Ancient, quiet, and deeply rooted in history.

A place that doesn’t shout, 

So… just outside Galera, there’s this place called Tútugi.

On paper, it’s an ancient burial site.

In real life… it’s one of those spots you nearly drive past and then end up standing at longer than expected.

At first you’re like,         

“Right… hills. Ground. Nice enough.”

Then you notice the shapes.

Little rises in the land, patterns, spaces that clearly mean something.

And suddenly it’s not just land anymore.

It’s a Slow One (in a good way)

This isn’t a big “wow” place.

It’s more of a… oh… hang on a minute place.

You slow down without trying.

You look around a bit more.

You stop checking your phone (rare, I know).

Worth It?

Yeah. Quietly, yeah.

If you’re already in Galera, it’s an easy stop.

But don’t rush it — give it 10–15 minutes just to wander and take it in.

That’s when it clicks.

This is exactly the kind of place that sneaks into my art later.

The colours, the space, the calm… The Peace.

A las afueras de Galera hay un sitio llamado Tútugi.

En teoría es una necrópolis íbera.

En la práctica… es uno de esos lugares que casi pasas de largo y al final te quedas más tiempo del esperado.

Al principio piensas,

“Bueno… tierra, colinas, está bien.”

Pero empiezas a ver las formas.

Pequeños montículos, detalles en el terreno, cosas que claramente tienen sentido.

Y ya no es solo paisaje.

Es un Sitio Para Ir Despacio

No es un sitio de “¡wow!” inmediato.

Es más bien un… espera un momento…

Vas más despacio sin darte cuenta.

Miras más.

Y hasta dejas el móvil un rato.

¿Vale la Pena?

Sí, pero de forma tranquila.

Si estás por Galera, es una parada fácil.

Pero no corras — date unos minutos para caminar y mirar.

Ahí es cuando lo entiendes.
